CPM 2026 HIGHLIGHTS: FASHION INDUSTRY PLAYERS CHART A NEW COURSE

From September 1 to 4, Moscow hosted the 46th season of CPM – Collection Première Moscow, the international fashion industry exhibition, bringing together 800 clothing and accessories brands from 20 countries. The brands presented their spring-summer 2027 collections to buyers. The procurement session was marked by strong retailer interest, a packed schedule of business meetings and an atmosphere of collaboration, with market players joining forces to find effective solutions for the evolving fashion business.

The exhibition was officially opened by Alexander Shaynikov, CEO of CPM organiser Expo Fusion; Marisa Pizziolo, COO and Marketing Director of the Ente Moda Italia Association; and Mustafa Paşahan, President of the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB). The opening ceremony also featured special guest Alexander Anatolyevich Belonogov, host of the Russian television project Big Fashionable Sentence and a legendary figure of Russian MTV.

“The key objective of the exhibition is to provide retailers with a strong and diverse selection of brands and manufacturers from around the world across a wide range of price points and style segments. One of the season’s highlights was the debut of EDEM COUTURE, which presented its new prêt-à-porter line at CPM with its own stand and runway show. The relaunch of the premium segment of the Russian CPM prime showcase also featured DIVNO, JACOTE FASHION KNIT FAMILY, AND THE BRAND, RADICAL CHIC and LUMIERE MAGIQUE.The organisers also presented a dedicated menswear corner as part of the CPM designerpool project, combined with a themed trend zone featuring LESIA LISUN, 21DOT12, LONG RIVER, USHIRO and MORTININI. Both special projects were held with the support of the annual RBC Fashion Review initiative.

Among the most prominent participants in the exhibition were brands from Russia — including ALEXANDER BOGDANOV, FIRST IN SPACE, HASS and others; Belarus — BALUNOVA, COMINTERN, NELVA and others; Uzbekistan — GUZAR; Italy — BRACCIALINI, ELISA CAVALETTI, VALENTINO and others; and Türkiye — CLIMBER, ENRICO CERINI, KETROY and others. Collections from numerous brands illustrated the key trends for the upcoming season across five trend zones created in partnership with French trend forecasting agency CARLIN and REAL PROFIT GROUP: Lattitude (womenswear), Sequel (menswear), Joy (lingerie and beachwear), Deep Real (functional fashion), and Retail (retail equipment and services for stores and retail spaces).

The exhibition’s traditional highlight was its runway programme. New collections were presented on the CPM Fashion Stage by brands featured in the menswear corner, CATERINA GROUP, as well as TORRIS, DARIO BELTRAN, TRUVOR, LEVELPRO and NIADA STUDIO. The programme also featured Chinese companies ATTANCO, CHUANGDIAN GARMENT, E TOUCH, EALL.CZ, MANDRO and STK, alongside Turkish participants ENRICO CERINI, NCS, KENBEY, MCR, NAGRADA, DISHE and DOLCHEZZA.

A significant part of the exhibition was dedicated to dreams by CPM, a curated selection of brands specialising in lingerie, swimwear, loungewear, fitness and sleepwear. The section brought together distributors EL PUNTO, NIADA SHOWROOM and SOLLERY FASHION, alongside brands including ROIDAL, TESSY, HUIT8, PLUTO, NUEAME, ISA BELLE DI SAMO GABRSCEK, FLORA LASTRAIOLI, VAL D’AZUR, NIADA STUDIO, MORE and NO ORDINARY MAN. New products were also presented by TEZIDO, FABBRO, PRELUDE MILANO, JOLIDON and others. On September 2, DREAMS EVENING featured lingerie runway shows and the DREAMS BY CPM AWARDS x LINGERIEMAGAZINE ceremony, recognising outstanding achievements by retailers in purchasing and customer service. The first awards went to Belle Fleur boutique from Voronezh for the best multi-brand assortment; Bloom Bra stores in Saratov and Krasnodar for excellence in lingerie fitting and selection; Santa Fee boutique from Irkutsk for the best customer experience; Anaelle boutique from Ufa for the best personalised approach; and the Wild Orchid retail chain as the best lingerie retailer of the year.

Another key section of the exhibition was CPM shop & retail solutions, dedicated to store design, equipment, fit-out and retail services. A total of 26 companies offering products and services for the retail sector presented their latest solutions and developments. Key areas included retail equipment (TORGKOMPLEKT and MANEKEN Design Studio); shopping centre management (SAMPA Management Company); packaging and product labels (GALAPOLYGRAPH, PACK-SMART, WESHINE LABEL, JIAYE LABEL, GOLD); financial services for retailers (OZON BANK); multimedia displays for retail spaces (S-SPECT); scent marketing and space fragrance systems (AROMA XXI, Third Sense); charging-device rental services (ENERGO); transport and logistics (DPD IN RUSSIA, AKFA, BQB, CGS, SPARK KARGO, CHINAROS); platforms for finding suppliers, manufacturing facilities and commercial real estate (BEE-ONLINE, BEE-TOGETHER, QIFA, NATMALL EXPO); HR consulting (SVOY HR); and a selection of fashion franchises created in cooperation with the RUSSIAN FRANCHISE ASSOCIATION.

The Russian Fashion Retail Forum (RFRF) programme featured 80 business sessions across five streams, including expert discussions Dreams Dialogue, retail case-study sessions Workshop and closed-door Board roundtables. Experts and leading fashion industry players discussed the new realities shaping the market and explored new approaches to business development.Key topics included cross-industry collaboration as a business growth strategy, premium product positioning and sales, and education and career strategies for 2027. The programme also focused on practical tools for managing and developing offline retail and e-commerce, building effective assortment matrices and improving customer service. Participants also explored brand relaunch strategies, startup development amid market transformation, and cooperation between retailers and shopping centres.

The forum brought together Andrey Burmatikov, Partner at Fashion Consulting Group; Lina Dembikova, founder of Ava Academy and the Taut brand; Darya Samkovich, founder of DIVNO; Evgeny Tikhonovich, Editor-in-Chief of RBC Style; Tatyana Maksimova, Editor-in-Chief of Voice Shopping; Elizaveta Cheprasova, Fashion Director at Voice; Vladimir Makarov, Fashion Director at Men Today; Sergey Kondakov, CEO of Tom Tailor; Nikolai Konstantinov, CEO of Trend Island and founder of Telegraf; Maria Smirnova, founder of Ishade; Leonid Alekseev, founder of House Of Leo; Vera Biryukova , Olympic champion and founder of V2SD; Sergey Sysoev , designer and Head of Department at Kosygin University; Maria Golenkova, Vice President and Marketing Director at Inventive Retail Group; Irina Zueva and Olga Simonova; Natalia Anyukhina, Director at REF; and many other industry experts.

Another important focus of the exhibition was the role of educational institutions within the CPM school special project. The showcase featured fashion schools and educational institutions including the Institutes of Design, Arts and Technologies of the Textile and Light Industry at Kosygin University, Ivanovo Polytechnic University, Moscow Art and Industry Institute, and the British Higher School of Art and Design. Exhibition visitors had the opportunity to learn more about educational programmes and professional competitions at the new RFRF Skills business venue. The programme also featured practical workshops on the commercial adaptation of trends, methods for verifying the authenticity of leather and fur products, working with national cultural codes and other industry-specific topics.

For many years, CPM has attracted considerable interest from well-known television personalities and representatives of the music, film and theatre industries. Among the guests of the 46th season were Larisa Dolina, Glafira Tarkhanova, Olesya Sudzilovskaya, Ekaterina and Alexandra Strizhenova, Olga Kabo, Anna Peskova, Inna Malikova, Ekaterina Drobysh, Irina Yovovich, Anna Skorokhodova and many others.

The next season of the international fashion industry exhibition CPM – Collection Première Moscow will take place from February 23 to 26, 2027, at the new multifunctional VDNH EXPO Congress and Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
